An interface that enables the user to monitor opinions expressed by citizens on all feedback channels, including social networks and other relevant sources for a given city.

ZenCity, adapted its product for Paris with an interface monitoring citizens’ opinion expressed on sourced networks, classified into categories of urban management (such as security, education, public spaces, environment etc.) and specifying if this opinion is positive, neutral or negative.
The experimentation took place in Paris' 18th, 19th and 20th districts.

Data used for this project was mostly sourced from social networks (Facebook, Twitter) and Paris' data resources. The selected startup - ZenCity - is a data analytics platform that leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to help cities understand citizen feedback for better governance and data-smart decision making.

Better insights about usage and expectations can help cities support their local businesses with data and intelligence about opportunities they may or may not find in a given neighborhood.
